"Ach, Fips!" polka sheet music, 1954

Composed in 1954 by Alois "Alo" Koll with lyrics by Johannes Kretschmar, this comical polka-duet was written for Hans-Joachim Fillip "Fips" Fleischer, percussionist and occasional vocalist with the Leipzig Radio Dance Orchestra under Kurt Henkels. The orchestra recorded "Ach, Fips! (du bist wie ein Apoll)" in 1954 with Fleischer and Brigitte Rabald providing vocals , appearing on Amiga 78rpm 50/103. Coincidentally, Rabald and Alo Koll married in 1956. This is Harth-Musik-Verlag publication 862, and 863 is the accordion version.
