Deutscher Humor

Not the best quality scan, but the book itself is very entertaining and worthy of widespread attention. The re-tellings by Ritter of texts from the middle ages to the early 20th century are of a uniform good quality. The illustrations by various artists (which are mostly signed and dated 1907), are all well done and very evocative.
