Electromagnetic Pulse Handbook For Electric Power Systems

This handbook has been prepared primarily for the power, communications, and systems engineer who must be concerned with the effects of the nuclear electromagnetic pulse on his system. The power engineer should be aware of the effects of EMP on his transmission and distribution system, and the power users must protect their equipment from the pulse conducted into their facilities on the power lines. The contents of this handbook draw heavily on the results of research conducted at Stanford Research Institute for the Air Force Weapons Laboratory under Contract F29601-69-C-0127 and on the extensive work conducted by D.
