"Holzhacker-Dixie" sheet music, 1954

Composed in 1954 by Fred Miebach, Karl Kuhn, and Carl Ulrich Blecher, this "woodchopper" Dixieland swing characteristic piece was covered by numerous artists on various record labels. This arrangement by Siegfried Ulbrich is effectively the one used by the Quartinos (Fritz Urban's Urbanos) on Neckermann . It has elements that turn up in the Amiga recording by Kurt Henkels & the Leipzig Radio Dance Orchestra , Karl Loube & his Dance Orchestra , and Karl Golgowsky's Quartet/Die Sunnies/Will Glahé's Orchestra . The pairing with " Zabadak " indicates this print is from the later 1960s.
