Synopsis Another lovely informal and fun Saturday morning chat with Pierre. Again, I am too tired to film, so audio only. But I snapped a picture of us at the beginning. Sitting around the table were Pierre, and then starting around from his left: JulieH, SteveD, Ciprian, JeffS, Eldar, and Barbara. Highlights The 'Transcendent' / Divine What evidence is there? Review of last night's talk We had all the time a connection between ourselves and an eternal source providing insights into the human condition. Thus the reason we're here - to benefit / learn from the Dream Master The problem with all cosmologies: They are only shadows: They only provide the physical means for the kind of learning referenced above Meditation: Does not yield Self or Meaning Having dreams (even if we don't analyze them to understand them) still keeps alive the 'limit of our knowing'. [I would also like to phrase this less delicately than Pierre does: 'reminds us of our ignorance' or better yet (as he puts it so often): 'preserves the mystery!' -JS] Either way, this limit/mystery annoys us, which is good, especially when we think we've 'mastered the game'. not 'sin' but ἁμαρτία (hamartia): 'missing the mark' 2
