Aleister Crowley & The International

A complete collection of the articles The Great Beast submitted to the paper The International when he was in America during the First World War. It includes some Simon Iff stories, The Golden Twigs (loosely based on Frazer's Golden Bough), The Revival of Magick, The Gnostic Mass, etc., as well as many articles, reviews, poems and plays. It is enhanced with a useful introduction and a sprinkling of illustrations. A worthwhile addition to any Crowley collector as it contains some of his best writings, demonstrating he was at the height of his literary powers, even when poverty and depression threatened to quash him.
