English
This book is about interesting idioms (around 1,350 of them) that contain body part names. Those about eyes, ears, heart, hands, and fingers appear to have generated the most idioms, which makes sense because those are the parts we seem to use more than any others. In any case, if you have a hand like a foot, a hungry belly which has no ears, and a monkey on your back, don't worry if you're caught with your hand in the cookie jar or being as crooked as a dog's hind leg, because the fickle finger of fate will find you some hair of the dog that bit you to prove that you're not just a pretty face (even if it does look like a wet weekend), and then everything will be as fine as frog's hair and you'll win hands down. It's a no-brainer.
