This novel is Truth disguised as fiction, much the same as William Shakespeare, Robertson Davies, Mark Twain, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Sinclair Lewis, Sinclair Ross, Eric Maria Remarque, et cetera. Like Bertholt Brecht, this author holds a mirror up the reader and asks, “Do you like what you see?” As Alfred Adler, one of the founding fathers of modern psychology, pointed out, all humans are connected. Unfortunately, it is common for people to not understand this. Often, they will, in a self-centred way, ignore the needs of others to get what they want, which is often a desire to dominate and control. Uneducated people with little feelings of self worth, will tend to allow someone else take control of them and their lives. Charles Chiniquy refers to these controlled slaves as corpses. They are easily led like a herd of sheep. In fact, their leader is often referred to as a shepherd. This book is a mystery, a romance, and a guide on how to release the chains of superstition which are making you a slave. The lessons are on how to take charge of your own life and to obtain what you want out of life. In this, co-operation with fellow human beings is the key. We all reap what we sow. Mystery,
