Why Does the Universe Need a Single Law? From ancient times, humanity has sought to understand nature. The motion of stars in the sky, an object falling to the ground, a burning flame, a growing tree, and human life itself — each appears to be a separate phenomenon. For this reason, science divided reality into different disciplines: physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy. Over time, the number of laws increased, formulas multiplied, and concepts became more complex. Yet nature itself is never fragmented. Complexity arises from the human method of studying reality by dividing it into parts. If the universe truly operated under many independent laws, it would not function coherently: planets would not maintain their orbits, atoms would not be stable, and life would not exist. Therefore, beneath all phenomena that appear in different forms, there must exist one single underlying principle . This book attempts to explain that principle — the relationship between energy, motion, and equilibrium — through a simple, consistent, and unified perspective. The Unifying Question of Existence We usually ask questions separately: Why does an object fall to Earth? Why do planets move in orbits?
