2019-02-06 NSPRM - Proclus - Theology of Plato (Books 1-3, Chap18 (Bk3)) - Selected Quotes on Light and Beauty

Synopsis Pierre leads the Noetic Society Parmenides study group through another morning of study. Lately we've been taking a break from the Parmenides, going through Proclus' Theology of Plato (*) instead, in order to see how Proclus lays out the 14 orders of gods implied in the Parmenides. Today we started with a few Greek vocabulary from Chapter 18 of Book 3. But then there was a dialogue with Julie that lasted about 30 minutes about the role of light and divinity from a quote in Chapter 18. Pierre then took us through a long series of quotes starting in Book 1 about the role of light and beauty. Incredibly illuminating and beautiful. ;-) No charts.
