2. Data categories
Depending on the feature, CreateLibre may process account identity and required profile gender; Book Friendship photos, bio, books, authors, genres, hobbies, goals and prompts; contact details and direct support requests; books, masked written messages, voice/video message files; room participation and call-status data; membership, quote, payment-status and delivery records; reading progress, block/report signals and cookie choices. Voice and video messages are not automatically transcribed. Gender is profile information and is never used to search, filter, score or rank Book Friendship suggestions. If local discovery is enabled, country, city, district, visibility and approximate online status are stored. Exact browser coordinates are used momentarily to resolve place names and are not stored or displayed. Camera, microphone and geolocation access require a visible user action and browser permission. Live WebRTC call content is not recorded on CreateLibre servers by default. At a live signing, the current buyer's camera and voice are broadcast to all viewers only after explicit consent; delivery details are never shown publicly. Full card data is processed by the licensed payment provider and is not stored on CreateLibre servers.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Data is used to create and secure accounts, provide reading/publishing and marketplace services, perform contracts, comply with law, establish or defend rights, prevent abuse and support proportionate legitimate interests. Consent is used where required for optional cookies, marketing or transfers.
4. Collection, recipients and transfers
Data comes from forms, uploads, reading/listening activity, book rooms, community interactions, direct support requests, payment status callbacks and security logs. Profanity in written messages is replaced with *** in server memory without an external moderation request. Voice and video messages are not automatically transcribed or classified. Live calls are not transcribed or recorded by default. Necessary data may be shared with configured hosting, database, email, payment, AI content-processing and security providers; the professional or client you choose; advisers; and competent authorities. International transfers are assessed under applicable transfer rules and safeguards.
5. Retention and security
Records are kept only for the service, legal, tax, rights and dispute periods that apply, then deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Reasonable organisational and technical measures are used, although no internet service can promise absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
You may request access, information, correction, deletion where applicable, restriction/objection where applicable, recipient information and review of relevant automated outcomes. You may withdraw consent prospectively. Contact the support address and include enough information to verify your request.

8. Calls, children and updates
Live voice/video calls are for members aged 18 or over and require an age and safety confirmation before joining. Participants should leave, block and report threatening or unlawful behaviour. Material changes are published with a new effective date and, where appropriate, communicated in the service.
