Life After Debt

Life After Debt is a report written in the year 2000, outlining the possibility of the U.S. Government paying off it's entire debt by the year 2012. The report was obtained by the NPR blog, Planet Money, through a Freedom of Information Act Request and publicly released at 12:59 pm on Ocotber 20, 2011. "The report was intended to be included in the official "Economic Report of the President" -- the final one of the Clinton administration. But in the end, people above Jason Seligman decided it was too speculative, too politically sensitive.
