Marplot in Lisbon; Or The Second Part of The Busy Body

LibriVox recording of Marplot in Lisbon; Or The Second Part of The Busy Body by Susanna Centlivre. Read in English by LibriVox Volunteers. We first met the scheming Marplot in Susanna Centlivre's 1709 play "The Busie Body" (already recorded at Librivox). The play was so successful that Centlivre wrote a sequel, again putting Marplot in the middle of schemes, mistaken identities, confusion, and finally .... well, that would be telling. - Summary by ToddHW Cast list: Marplot.
