The Lawcode [Datastanagirk'] of Mxit'ar Goš, translated with commentary and indices by Robert W. Thomson (Atlanta, GA, 2000), in 361 searchable and bookmarked pdf pages. Gosh wrote this work in the late 12th century, based on earlier sources and on his understanding of justice as a compassionate cleric. Thomson's excellent translation is preceded by an introduction which describes the life of Mxit'ar (Mkhitar/Mkhit'ar), the Lawcode, Mxit'ar's sources, his own views, and the impact that the Lawcode had on Armenian and other communities. Amplified with links to resources at Internet Archive. Internet Archive also has the Classical Armenian text that this was translated from ( Girk' Datastani ). Scanned by Robert Bedrosian.
