Official Code of Georgia Annotated, Volume 07. This volume is the 2015 Edition. Title 9: Civil Practice (Chapter 11) This volume is part of the distribution of the OCGA for the year 2018. Please note that posting of this volume has been disputed by the State of Georgia which instituted litigation against Public Resource. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit has rejected the claims of the State of Georgia and strongly supported the right of Public Resource to make this document available to you to read, copy, and speak. The full docket of the appellate litigation is available as is the 3-0 opinion of the court. In the words of the Honorable Court: To advance the interests and effect the will of the People, their agents in the General Assembly have chosen to create an official exposition on the meaning of the laws of Georgia. In creating the annotations, the legislators have acted as draftsmen giving voice to the sovereign’s will. The resulting work is intrinsically public domain material, belonging to the People, and, as such, must be free for publication by all.
