On page 18 of the book itself, it says Ashraf Ali Thanwi held positive views on the nalayn sharif, however this was retracted by Thanwi himself. This fatwa taken from the deobandi website themselves state " As for the picture of the na’layn sharifayn , then there is no basis for this. Taking blessing from them, kissing them and putting them over one’s head has no foundation. Mawlana Thanawi has retracted from his treatise Nayl al-Shifa bi Na’l al-Mustafa in his Imdad al-Fatawa 4:378."
