Nüw Modelbuch von allerley gattungen Däntelschnür, was created in 1561 by M. R. and published by Christoph Froschauer. It is a landmark in bobbin lace pattern books as it is one of the earliest ones currently known. In addition, most of the earlier needlecraft pattern books focus on embroidery, making this book one of the earliest in the lace genre.
